The bill
(Reg. No. 2327) suggests establishing the principles of functioning of the
Insurance Compensation Fund under life insurance contracts, the main aim of
which is to ensure functioning of the system of insurance compensation under
life insurance contracts, in case of assuror insolvency.
Particularly it is suggested to regulate: guarantees of insurance compensation under life insurance contracts; legal status of the Fund and its governing bodies; procedure for the formation of the Fund's property; the right to receive guarantee payment and compensatory payment; payment procedure at the expenses of the Fund.
The bill suggests establishing the Fund in the legal-organizational form of a specialized institution, performing functions in the sphere of insurance compensation under life insurance contracts. The Fund is an economically independent and non-profitable institution. The governing bodies of the Fund are the administration board and executive board.
The joining fee is established at the level of UAH 20 thousand.
