The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis the draft law on amendments to article 18 of the Law “On Militia” re refining the system of staffing of internal affairs bodies

The bill (Reg. No. 2050a) suggests oblige military students of higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) offset expenses connected with maintenance of students in the MIA higher educational institutions in case they early terminate a study contract due to unwillingness to continue studying; non-fulfillment of curriculum; or dismissal from bodies of internal affairs three years after graduation from the MIA higher educational institution for any reason other than ill health dismissal or due to reduction of personnel.

The respective bill was registered under No. 2050а.
