According to A.Palatnyi,
the quality of implementing state youth policy is till at a low level in Ukraine; youth
programmes and respective regional projects are funded “residually”.
Youth organizations leaders voiced their proposals
regarding the improvement of the state’s youth policy in the spheres:
employment, provision of housing, patriotic upbringing, promotion of youth
entrepreneurship.

Following the results of discussion, A.Palatnyi stressed that the Committee will analyze remarks of youth organizations and consider them when refining legislation and strengthening parliamentary control over the activity of executive authorities. He invited representatives of youth organizations to participate in parliamentary hearings entitled “Participation of youth in social life: economic activity”, scheduled for November 20, 2013 in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Committee Chair awarded leaders of youth NGOs with Committee’s diplomas “For active living position, creativity, and personal contribution to the state youth policy in Ukraine”.
