The bill (Reg. No. 2587a) suggests consolidate legislative norms in the Land Code regarding the delegation of authority by the Cabinet of Ministers particularly concerning the suspension of rights to use land plots of the above mentioned enterprises in case of their voluntary suspension of rights to use or in case of sequestration of the land plots. It was also stipulated that land plots of the enterprises, institutions and organizations that are under the jurisdiction of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine would be sequestrated in case of their improper use and/or if they had been used by other landowner for more than five years.
However, the Committee members think that the issue concerning the suspension of rights to use of the land plots, particularly of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine or National discipline academy of sciences, is stated in article 84 of the Land Code of Ukraine.
The Committee decided not to support the bill as it does not conform with the norms and has not been approved by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, State Agency of Land Resources of Ukraine.
This decision will be informed to the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations.
