The aim of the bill (Reg. No. 2275) is creating the conditions for more efficient enforcement of safety and public order at places where football games, football competitions between professional teams take place. It also aims at preventing any form of violence and malfeasances before, during and after football games, including cooperation between state authorities, organizers and public organizations.
The Chairman of the Committee Artur Palatnyi particularly stressed that “when workers of the police special forces respond to the disorders in stadiums after 9-12 minutes since their beginning is unacceptable.”
