The bill (Reg. No. 2295) suggests resolve issues concerning the order of establishing and paying the services for handling domestic waste, defining the powers of local self-government authorities, local state administrations and national commission, that carries out state regulation in the sphere of housing and communal services, and also regulation of investment, tariff and other activities in the sphere of handling domestic waste.

Respective changes should be made to such laws: “On local self-government of Ukraine”, “On local state administrations”, “On housing and communal services”, “On waste”, “On licensing of certain types of economic activity”, the Code of Ukraine on administrative offences, etc.           

During the discussion, the Committee members voiced several remarks to the bill. The attention was also drawn to the opinions of the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat.
