The bill (Reg. No. 2519a) aims at establishing maximum amount of attorney’s fee for implementation of advocatory self-government in the Law “On the Bar and Advocacy”. Particularly, it is suggested set limits within one minimum salary.
People’s deputies stressed that establishment of any limits in regard to annual contribution can deprive advocacy of advocatory self-government resource base.
Committee members believe that insufficient funding at the expense of both annual contributions and other sources can lead to budget deficit of advocatory self-government, which shall negatively effect implementation of their functions.
