The Committee on the Rule of Law and Justice recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft bill on amendments to the Civil Procedure Code regarding jurisdiction of cases

The bill (Reg. No. 2333) aims at improving procedural law of Ukraine regarding determining the jurisdiction of cases on deprivation of parental rights.

The draft law suggests amend part 1 of article 110 of the Civil Procedure Code.

According to the members of the Committee, adoption of the bill will help defend rights of a mother (a father) who raise children and who, under certain circumstances, have to file a claim to the court regarding the deprivation of paternal rights of the other father (mother).
