In particular, Committee members upheld the following draft resolutions: “On celebration of the 70th anniversary of Dnipro river crossing on the territory of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast” (Reg. No. 2543a); “On celebration of the 70th liberation anniversary of the city of Dnipropetrovsk from Nazi invaders” (Reg. No. 2463а); “On celebration of the 70th liberation anniversary of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast from Nazi invaders” (Reg. No. 2542а); “On celebration of the 70th liberation anniversary of the city of Ordzhonikidze of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast from Nazi invaders” (Reg. No. 2412а); “On celebration of the 70th liberation anniversary of the city of Nokopol of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast from Nazi invaders, as a result of Nikopol-Kryvyi Rih offensive operation, involving troops of the 3d and 4th Ukrainian Fronts” (Reg. No. 2377а); and “On celebration of the 70th liberation anniversary of the city of Korosten of Zhytomyr Oblast from Nazi invaders” (Reg. No. 3054).
The Committee noted that the draft resolutions aim at decent commemoration of the deceased soldiers – the Red Army liberators.
The draft resolutions suggest entrust the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine set up organizational committees and elaborate Action plans on commemorating the respective events.
