I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of a memorable date – the 70th liberation anniversary of the city form fascist invaders.
16 thousands of citizens, who did not come back from the battlefield, were a price to pay for victory. The main source that nurtures our patriotism, inspiration and energy, seven decades later, is the feat of our soldiers-liberators. The names of 64 Heroes of the Soviet Union, the citizens of Makiivka are engraved on the city’s Alley of Heroes and in the memory of future generations.
Today, Makiivka is an industrial center with a powerful raw material base, as well as industrial and scientific potential that gives ground to face the future with hope.
May your further progress be confident and rich in achievements. I wish you happiness, sound health, energy, and new fruitful deeds for the development of our glorious city and our native Ukraine!
