The bill (Reg. No. №2105а) was elaborated with the aim to bring the country’s legal framework in accordance with the provisions of the International Convention on the Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System which Ukraine acceded through creating Customs Tariff. The basis of Customs Tariff is the new version of Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity (UKT ZED), formed on a basis of the Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System of 2012 (HS-2012) and Combined Nomenclature of the European Union. The bill was elaborated also in order to fulfill tariff commitments achieved in the negotiations process connected with Ukraine’s entering the WTO.
