I sincerely greet you on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day!
This holiday is of special value for each of us, irrespective of viewpoints, nationality or denomination, for it unites all citizens of the state with a centuries-old history, unique spiritual heritage, bright victories and great achievements.
Independence Day unites everyone who sincerely loves their Homeland, wishes to see Ukraine a modern and advanced country and contributes to its prospering.
Today our country moves steadily towards democratic transformations, development of a civil society and modernization of the state. Free and consolidated Ukraine can take place only as a democratic, economically and humanitarially developed state, where each citizen feels free and protected. By persistent work should we reach economic revival, establishment of decent living conditions and start-up opportunities for youth.
I am convinced that Ukraine’s strength lies in unity of efforts, for our common achievements make mightiness and greatness of the state.
On this day I wish you happiness, health, love and family consent. I wish you good fortune, optimism, fulfillment of plans and dreams, as well as new achievements in the name of Ukraine!
