The bill (Reg. No. 0026) suggests ratify the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Sudan on cooperation in the sphere of research and use of outer space for peaceful purposes, signed on September 27, 20123 in Kyiv. The Agreement determines main directions and forms of cooperation between Ukraine and the republic of Sudan in the respective sphere.

Committee members believe that implementation of bill provisions will promote further active participation of Ukraine in the international space activity and the approved Agreement will be the basis for implementation of joint projects and conclusion of new contracts. Parliament members deem that the Agreement will also ensure fulfillment of its commitments by Ukraine pertaining to protection of space technologies and promote establishment of a more close cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Sudan in the sphere of space.
