The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis the draft law “On amendments to several laws of Ukraine re reducing the number of licensing documents to be received by food market operators”

The bill (Reg. No. 2938) aims at simplifying activity of economic entities, deregulation of entrepreneurial activity and harmonization of Ukraine’s legislation with the EU legislation in the part of issuance of licensing documents.

It is suggested amend the Law “On state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl, cognac and fruit alcoholic beverages and tobacco products” and the Law “On Safety and Quality of Food Products.”

Dairy raw materials and products, imported to the customs territory of Ukraine, are subject to inspection according to Ukraine’s legislation.
