At the meeting of the Committee it was noted that the bill (Reg. No. 2233) aimed at strengthening legal basis to exempt the Ministry of Justice from paying the court fee. Particularly, the bill stipulates amending article 5 of the Law “On Court Fee”.
People’s deputies deem the exemption of the Ministry of Justice from paying the court fee will lead to a reduction of the special fund of the State budget and to reduction of the funding of the judiciary that does not comply with part one of article 130 of the Constitution of Ukraine and part 2 of article 140 of the Law “On the Court System and the Status of Judges”.
