The Committee on the Rule of Law does not uphold the draft law on amendments to article 5 of the Law “On Court Fee” re payment of court fee

The bill (Reg. No. 2240) suggests amend article 5 of the Law “On Court Fee” in the part of exempting the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and its secretariat, the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and its secretariat, ministries of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Republican Committees of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and other executive bodies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea from paying court fee.

People’s deputies believe that the suggested amendments can bear negative effect on functioning of the court system of Ukraine and, at least, decrease efficiency of administration of justice.
