I.Kalyetnik told his young fellow countrymen about the Ukrainian Parliament and its work. In particular, he said that the reason for “certain setback” in the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is, among other things, significant renewal of composition of the Parliament. I.Kalyetnik believes that dialogue is a guarantee of a normal work of the Verkhovna Rada. “We should reach the joint stand through a dialogue and not through blackmailing, intimidation or fighting,” he stressed, “since elaboration of effective and efficient laws is a guarantee of working economy and progress of the whole state”.
The issue of involving youth in the work of executive authority and bodies of local self-government was discussed during the meeting. In this context, I.Kalyetnik stressed that “these young people are the active part of youth that wants to be successful, build a career and have a good future”. He stressed that knowledge, wish for self-improvement and moving ahead all the time are needed for career progress.
I.Kalyetnik reminded that, under a special program, almost 70 persons, students mainly, take a special internship course in the bodies of state authority, including in the Verkhovna Rada. “This is the foundation that shall work in practice,” he said.
