The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the bill on amendments to the Family Code (re unavoidability of obligation to maintain a child by persons deprived of parental rights)

The bill (Reg. No. 2548) suggests oblige a court to take the decision on settling alimony simultaneously with the procedure of termination of parental rights.

Adoption of the bill will allow promote financial maintenance of a child; increase responsibility of persons for implementation of their parental rights; and decrease the number of child delivery exclusively in order to receive state assistance.
