The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation recommends that Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Law “On Protecting Animals from Cruel Treatment” re protecting animals from violence

The Committee noted that the bill (Reg. No. 2915) is elaborated to enhance the protection of animals from cruelty, form the humane treatment with animals that live close to humans.

According to the Committee members, the proposed changes will improve the efficiency of the legal system aimed at improving the lives of animals.
