R.Bohachev, the Deputy Chairman of the Health Care Minister, Head of the Secretariat informed on the state of state procurement in the sphere of health care. The Deputy Chairman of the Anti-monopoly Committee, state commissioner L.Kolisnyk and the Deputy Director of the Science and Humanitarian Department of the Counting Chamber V.Shendryk also mentioned certain violations in this sphere during their speeches.
People’s deputies outlined a number of problematic issues that require urgent settlement both at legislative and governmental levels. Rapporteurs stressed the necessity to increase transparency of state procurement in this sphere and strengthen control over it. These and other suggestions made by participants of the hearings will be generalized in the recommendations to the committee hearings and are planned to be considered and approved during the next meeting of the Committee.
Members of the Temporary Inquiry Commission of the Verkhovna Rada on investigating facts of violation legislation in the course of state procurement, inefficient use of state funds and abuse of official position on the part of officials of the Ministry of Health Care of Ukraine and other state enterprises, institutions and organizations in the sphere of health care and pharmaceutics, as well as representatives of central bodies of executive power, Counting Chamber, law-enforcement bodies and NGOs participated in the hearings.
