The Committee members noted that the bill (Reg. No. 2505) aimed at strengthening state protection of judges, their close relatives. Respective changes are proposed to the laws "On the Court System and the Status of Judges", "On state protection of court personnel and law enforcement agencies," the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
People's deputies have drawn attention to the fact that the bill prohibits the disclosure of information about the judge by the state authorities, enterprises, institutions, organizations and persons to whom the information became known during the process of their service.
