The meeting was held on the request of the American party. The participants of the meeting discussed several issues concerning cooperation between Ukraine and the United States of America.
O.Bilorus emphasized the dynamic character of relations between Ukraine and the United States of America. He declared that Ukraine was willing to establish active inter-parliamentary cooperation. He also informed about the activity of the Verkhovna Rada Deputy Group on the Inter-Parliamentary Liaison with the United States of America involving the members of all the political parties. The Committee Chairman highlighted the prospects of cooperation on different levels.
The Parties appreciated the cooperation between the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Embassy of the United States of America in Ukraine, and discussed the joint action plan for 2010-2011.
