To the social workers
Please accept my sincere greetings on the occasion of the occupational holiday the Day of the Social Worker of Ukraine.
Public honour and respect have always been bestowed on those people who devoted themselves to the work for the benefit of others: who took care of the elderly, veterans and people with disabilities, who shared their warmth with the orphans and homeless children in the orphanages, who assisted the low-income families and families with many children, who tried to help those in need.
Today is the holiday of people, whose everyday work is full of charity, humanism, kindness and sincere human sympathy. Despite the hardships, you thoroughly work for the benefit of every person and the whole country. Owing to your self-sacrificing work, sympathy and care, many people have retained their faith and found confidence in the future.
I express my sincere gratitude to you for your devoted service and considerable achievements in this noble pursuit. I am strongly convinced that you will apply yourself to consolidate humanitarian ideals.
I wish you sound health, happiness and welfare. May your noble and important work bring you satisfaction, material support, and inspiration.
