Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stresses that organization of the regular parliamentary elections depends on the high-standard law-making.
V.Lytvyn made this statement at the briefing, asked to explain the declaration of the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that election campaign had already started at the Parliament.
"I meant the importance of the high-standard work, so that at least 20 per cent of people trusted The Verkhovna Rada, since this rate totals only 5-10 per cent," he stated. "It is not a satisfactory rate for the coming elections," the Head of the Parliament declared. "Therefore, I gave this piece of advice to the deputies." "It is not a good moment to think about the elections," he summed up.
"As to the date of elections, my stance is well-known: I am not mistaken when the elections will be held," V.Lytvyn stated.
