The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends The Verkhovna Rada to pass the Draft Resolution on Consent of the President of Ukraine to the Appointment of V.P.Pshonka to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine

Viktor Shvets, Committee Chairman, stated that the President of Ukraine had submitted an appeal on appointing V.P.Pshonka to the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

Viktor Shvets declared that the General Prosecution shall fulfill the functions established by the Constitution of Ukraine as to the observance of laws, and human rights and freedoms by the law enforcement bodies.

12 Committee members supported the draft resolution (Reg. No. 7325) registered on 3.11.2010.
