People´s Deputy N. Korolevska,
author of the bill (Reg. No.6711), declared that it "prevents unjustified extra
expenses of time and costs by the producers-sole proprietors by the
registration of certificates of conformity with the European Union legislation
and requirements of the World Trade Organization in the sphere of technical
regulation."
The bill amends clause 32 of the Law "On Standards, Technical Regulations and Conformity Assessment", including the principles on compulsory registration of the conformity certificates in the State Consumer Standards Agency of Ukraine. It also amends to the Laws "On Confirmation of Correspondence" and "On Protection of Consumer´s Rights."
