The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to Clause 9 of the Law "On Organization and Legal Principles of fighting Organized Crime" (re Investigative Forces)

The bill (Reg. No.6384) excludes the clause determining that investigative forces belong to the structure of organized crimes fighting forces from the Law "On Organization and Legal Principles of fighting Organized Crime."

The amendments enable the Ministry of Internal Affairs to cancel the subordination of investigative forces to the inquest body and institute them onto the single structure of the investigation apparatus of the internal affairs bodies of Ukraine.
