Oleh Bilorus, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, congratulated the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary on his appointment to the office, and highly appreciated the relations between the states. He also called for giving impetus to the bilateral cooperation at the inter-parliamentary level.
The Parties drew attention to the growing development of cooperation in the economic and cultural sectors.
Ion Stavila, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Ukraine, reported on the current political situation in the Republic of Moldova on the eve of the early parliamentary elections scheduled for November 28, 2010. He expects that inter-parliamentary liaison will foster bilateral cooperation.
