The Committee on the European Integration scrutinized Several Bills as to the Conformity to the European Union Legislation

The parliament members scrutinized
the bill on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the
reorganization of tax on the regular technical inspection payable by the owners
of vehicles into the rate of excise duty and entrance duty (Reg. No.6392),
which amends the Law "On Tax payable by the Owners of Vehicles" and "On Excise
Duty and Entrance Duty Rate on certain Goods (Production)." The bill reorganizes
the tax payable by the owners of vehicles for the regular technical inspection,
including it into the cost of fuel.
The Committee members believe that the bill
does not contradict the European Union laws.
The parliament members also stated that the bill
on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine (re improvement of principles
on restriction of places for tobacco goods consumption) (Reg. No.6018) that amends
the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements, does not contradict the
European Union laws.
