The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to Several Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Observance of Legislation on the Prohibition of Gambling in Ukraine

The bill (Reg. No. 5349-д) improves the procedure of implementing the ban on gambling in Ukraine as to the obligations of the police.

The bill supplements the Criminal Code of Ukraine with Clause 2032 (Performance of Activity prohibited by the Law "On the Prohibition of Gambling in Ukraine"), under which gambling is punished by the fine in the total of eight thousand minimum wages with the confiscation and destruction of gambling equipment.
