On Wednesday, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, conferred the Awards of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the best educators. On the eve of the Teacher´s Day, the educators of comprehensive, vocational, pre-school and out-of-school education establishments received an annual award and decorations of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for special merits in education of pupils.
V.Lytvyn stated that educators are the devotees who bring up the future generations, so every reform should enhance their status.
The Head of the Parliament supports ‘sound conservatism in the sphere of education´, as "modern education should be long-lasting, since the whole material can not be grasped for the school years only." "It is necessary to follow new trends, as the world is ever-changing", he stated.
