The Law permits the local organizations of the political parties registered less than 365 days before the elections to stand in the local elections, and allows all the local organizations of the political parties to nominate their candidates.
The Law alters the principle of formation of the territorial election commissions. Thus, a territorial election commission can include up to eighteen persons. Both local organizations of the political parties represented at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the current convocation and all other local organizations of the political parties registered in Ukraine are authorized to nominate their candidates to the territorial election commissions.
A relevant bill was registered under Reg. No. 7043-1.
