The bill (Reg. No. 5424) submitted
by People´s Deputy R.Moisyk amends clauses 157, 158 and
158-1, and excludes clause 160 from the Criminal Code.
The bill suggests the following version of paragraph 1 of part 1 of clause 158: "1. Illegal manufacture, forgery, storage or use of illegally manufactured election or referendum ballots, and use of illegally manufactured or received election or referendum ballots for voting."
The bill excludes clause 160 from the Criminal Code, since the responsibility for infringements mentioned in this clause (violation of the laws on referendum) are regulated by clauses 157, 158 and 159 of the Criminal Code.
The Committee members supported the bill, as its adoption will enhance legal regulation of criminal responsibility for certain infringements upon the voters´ rights.
