The signing of the declaration of support for the creation of a special tribunal for russian crimes will make it possible to bring the top leadership of the russian federation to justice.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Committee on Legal Policy Denys Maslov.

“44 states have signed the declaration. Among them are the G7 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. Together with other countries, they supported Volodymyr Zelenskyi's Peace Formula, which consists of 10 points, and in particular, the 7th point of this formula refers to the restoration of justice as one of the negotiations to end the war, which was proposed by our side to the international community,” he said.

According to Denys Maslov, the countries noted their commitment and support for the creation of a special tribunal for the crimes of russian aggression against Ukraine. The declaration itself states that the tribunal should ensure that the highest military and political leadership of the russian federation is brought to justice. This includes putin, lavrov, shoigu and others, the politician said.

“The declaration also refers to the compensation of damages caused by the aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine: these include crimes against humanity, against local governments, our legal entities and citizens of Ukraine. This compensation mechanism must be ensured, and representatives of 44 countries welcomed the launch of the International Register of Damages,” said Denys Maslov.
