This year's World Economic Forum in Davos is not only a discussion of the Ukrainian “Peace Formula”, but also a large number of bilateral meetings of our delegation with partners to promote Ukrainian interests.

Mariia Mezentseva, the MP, Deputy Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Ukraine's Integration with the EU, Head of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE, said:

“Both the President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and his team have discussed a large number of support packages with partners. For example, Latvia has already announced financial assistance programs for the production of drones in our country. We heard clearly that Switzerland will host the next summit on the “Peace Formula” at the level of world leaders. The President invited everyone who shares the values of Ukraine, which is fighting today not only for its existence, but also proves that we are the most effective army in the world,” the MP said.

According to her, the recent shelling of Odesa, Kharkiv and Kherson proves that Ukraine needs more systems like Patriot and NASAMS.

“We are also talking about this with our American and Canadian colleagues who have come to the summit. Of course, we do not forget about Ukrainians who still need humanitarian aid. They will definitely stand shoulder to shoulder with us. This is proved by both the leaders of the parliamentary dimension and some global titans of the economic space, those who will help Ukraine produce the necessary weapons on its own,” the MP said.

She emphasized that an important trend was clearly visible at the Forum – international companies are ready to invest in Ukraine.

“Business sees us as a promising market in various areas – bonds, government bonds, the IT sector, food production, finished products, light industry, construction, etc. It is here and now that many contacts are being formed,” summarized Mariia Mezentseva.
