Adopted the Resolution “On the Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ‘On Priority Issues of Ukraine's Integration into the EU’” (No. 6132).
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the text of the Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “On Priority Issues of Ukraine's Integration into the EU” and instructed the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to immediately send the text of the Verkhovna Rada's Address to the European Parliament and the parliaments of the EU member states.
In the Statement, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reaffirms Ukraine's strategic course towards Ukraine's full membership in the European Union, enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine, and calls for recognition of Ukraine's EU membership prospects in accordance with Article 49 of the Treaty on European Union.
