The head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Hanna Hopko became a party to a panel discussion on parliamentary diplomacy during the XIII meeting of Ukriane’s foreign diplomatic missions heads

In her speech, the committee head  focused on the importance of strengthening the interaction of the legislative and executive branches of power in the face of the Russian aggression and dissemination of misinformation, the practicalities of implementing provisions of the new Law of Ukraine "On Diplomatic Service", the leadership staffing matters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the increase in  the number of deputies responsible for foreign policy activities, as well as the intensification of cultural diplomacy and the work of the newly created  establishment - "The Ukrainian Institute".

Likewise, his own say in the above discussion had also Volodymyr Ariev, MP, the head of the Subcommittee on Inter-parliamentary Cooperation, Bilateral and Multilateral Relations of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the leader of the UA Permanent Parliamentary Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. He spoke of the affairs of the delegation and inter-parliamentary friendship groups with foreign partners.

Hanna Hopko and Volodymyr Ariev both emphasized the committee’s openness to cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
