Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement

…recommends the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to accept the draft bill No.5514 on the first reading. The bill harmonizes Ukrainian legislation with European standards in respect of clearing of a criminal record. The new law runs the clearance is not allowed in case of intentional serious and extremely serious crimes subject to clause II “Crime against life and health”, to clause VI “Crime against sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of a person”, clause XX “Crime against peace, human security and international legal order” of the Ukrainian Criminal Code. The committeemen approved the bill.
