The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine O. Moroz made a Working Visit to the Poltava Region on Sunday

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olexandr Moroz made a working visit to the Poltava region on Sunday.

Speaking before the residents of Poltava region, O.Moroz analyzed current political situation in Ukraine, and dwelled on the extraordinary election.

According to O.Moroz, it was planned to call the extraordinary election illegitimate, and then the President of Ukraine would remain the only legitimate branch of power, and his authorities would be extended after holding the relevant referendum.

The Chairman also called for enhancement of authorities of the local self-government. He stated: "People have to elect the authority, the authority is to be under public control, and then the society will develop".
