The Social Policy and Labour Committee Seconds the Adoption, at the first Reading, of the Bill amending the Law of Ukraine 'On Rehabilitation of the Disabled in Ukraine'

The Bill (Reg. No. 3676), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers, envisages enhanced system of rendering rehabilitation services to the disabled. Inter alia, the Bill establishes a single procedure for rendering the said services by the relevant enterprises of public and private forms of ownership. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is authorized to ratify the regulations concerning the State Register of Rehabilitation Enterprises; the central bodies of executive power are authorized to establish qualification requirements to the employees of rehabilitation enterprises, the procedure of their certification, etc.

The Committee forwarded its resolution to the Profile Committee on the Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and the Disabled.
