On 8 August, the First Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine A. Martyniuk made a working visit to the Vinnytsia region.
During the visit A.Martyniuk had meetings with the public, held a press conference for the local mass media, and appeared on the local television in the live broadcast.
A.Martyniuk commented on the situation concerning future early parliamentary election and predicted the consequences of political, social and economical development of Ukraine.
A.Martyniuk also dwelled on the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, predicted future configuration of political forces in the newly-elected Verkhovna Rada, clarified the prospects of Ukraine´s entry in the EU, WTO and NATO, emphasized the necessity of further development of relations between Ukraine and Russia, commented on the grounds, terms and procedure of holding an extraordinary session of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
A.Martyniuk also answered numerous questions concerning current social and economical development of Ukraine and Vinnytsia region, further actions of the Government towards increase of the rate of public life, stressing the necessity of fighting inflation and constraining rise of prices on foodstuffs.
