This Bill (Reg. No.4000), envisages 246.3 billion Hryvnias of revenue in the Consolidated Budget totalling 30.4% of the GDP, including 197.7 billion Hryvnias (24.3% of the GDP) in the General Fund.
The Draft Budget aims to resolve a number of social issues, for which purpose additional resources will be directed towards the introduction of a new figure for the monthly Minimum Wage of employees of Budget institutions: 505 Hryvnias starting from 1 January 2008, 515 Hryvnias from 1 April 2008, and 565 Hryvnias from 1 October. By the end of the year, the amount of the minimum wage will have reached 90% of the Living Wage.
The Budget Deficit in the coming year is set at the level of 2.34% of the GDP. The ratio of The State Debt to the GDP will total 10.7 % compared to 11.2 in 2007.
