A relevant Bill (reg. no.4069) 'On Amendments to several Laws of Ukraine (concerning the issue of licences to business entities for the sale of natural gas produced by them)' has been registered in The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Predicted, inter alia, is the creation of a legal basis, by which to strengthen the regulatory influence of the State on the activities of businesses producing natural gas, by issuing licences for the sale of this gas. Other recommendations include ensuring that licensees meet and comply with the licensing terms, and establishing economically moderate prices for natural gas produced by the licensees and sold to The National Joint-stock Company Naftogaz Ukrainy, towards the creation of natural gas resources for public requirements.
