The Ukrainian Parliament has adopted Draft Law No. 0242, which ratifies the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada. This document opens up opportunities to significantly strengthen economic cooperation between our countries.
This was stated by the MP, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko.
“The agreement concluded between Ukraine and Canada is an extremely important international legal document. Canada is our reliable partner, not only in terms of military assistance, but also in terms of trade and economic relations. The agreement extends the free market and promotes the development of economic relations between our countries. According to the document, Ukrainian goods receive the so-called national treatment, which means that this agreement creates additional opportunities for our producers and businessmen, opens Canadian markets for our goods and our entrepreneurs,” the MP said.
He added that the Canadian Parliament has already ratified the agreement.
