On the tenth anniversary of the beginning of the armed aggression of the russian federation and the second anniversary of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution in which it appealed to parliaments, governments, international organisations, and the international community to unite around Ukraine, support our people in the fight against the aggressor, and actively participate in the implementation of the President Volodymyr Zelenskyi's Peace Formula.
This was stated by the MP, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko.
According to him, the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula is an important element of the adopted resolution.
“This Formula is based on ten points: starting with nuclear security, food security and ending with the prosecution of all those who committed crimes against Ukraine, including the crime of aggression, war crimes, crimes against humanity, acts of genocide,” the politician said.
He stressed that the Ukrainian Peace Formula is based on the UN Charter and the principles of international law, so its implementation is important not only for Ukraine, but also for ensuring global peace and global security.
