During the Meeting, organised at the request of the Israeli Party and providing an opportunity for familiarization, a range of matters was discussed related to Bilateral relations.
The Committee Chairman outlined Ukrainian/Israeli co-operation prospects at economic, financial and political levels, and, inter alia, suggested the establishment of relations at the level of Parliamentary Committees of both countries.
Oleh Bilorus also advised The Ambassador of The State of Israel, that a Deputy Group has been set up in The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Inter-parliamentary liaisons with The State of Israel, and handed her the Group Membership List. This Group is headed by The People's Deputy, O.Feldman.
The Committee Chairman advised The Ambassador of the functions of The Foreign Affairs Committee. He noted that, 'In this Convocation the Committee has been granted additional Authorities for Legislative support of the whole of Ukraine's foreign policy activities'.
In her turn, The Ambassador assured the Committee Chairman of her readiness to work together at Inter-parliamentary level.
