Eight Committees were set up to comprehensively cover the Committee's scope and subject matter, and monitoring of the bodies involved in Corruption and Organised Crime Combatting.

Also discussed at the Meeting was the Representation to The President of Ukraine, by the Head of Security Service of Ukraine, V. Nalyvaichenko, on the Dismissal of V. Pidboliachy from the position of Chief of The Central Corruption and Organised Crime Combatting Division, and appointing D. Durdynets in his place, without any settlement of this issue with the Committee. Members of the Committee stressed that such 'Actions by V. Nalyvaichenko are unlawful and resulted in the issue of Edicts by the President of Ukraine, contradicting to Par. 4, Clause 10 of the Law 'On Organisational and Legal Principles underlying Organised Crime Combatting'. Current legislation requires such Representation be considered initially at a meeting of the Committee, whose decision it is to agree to such a dismissal or appointment.

The outcome of this discussion resulted in a decision being taken to commission an examination of the circumstances of this dismissal, which was not agreed by the Committee, to The Prosecutor General of Ukraine, and to take the necessary steps to eliminate any violations of the Law.

To avoid any future violations of the current Legislation with regard to personnel decisions, The People's Deputies agreed to forward a letter to The President of Ukraine, detailing the Commission's thoughts on this subject.
