The Committee on agrarian policy and land relations is considering the relevant Bill amending Article 20 of the Land Code of Ukraine.
The Bill (Reg. No. 3736) was worked out by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in order to improve legal regulation of land relations in the State.
Inter alia, Article 20 of the Land Code of Ukraine that envisages the procedure of change of land designation, will be amended in the following way: change of land plots designation with the purpose of their further exploitation for extraction of mineral resources, conducting of mining, constructing and other works connected with breach of topsoil, can be implemented, provided the design-driven documents for their restoration are available.
According to the authors of the Bill, the proposed amendments should improve the process of the land designation change.
