The Bill (Reg. No. 4015) envisages granting permission to the citizens of Ukraine, who permanently reside in Ukraine, but temporarily work abroad, to bring their own motor cars in the customs territory of Ukraine within one year for the term not exceeding two months, without payment of import duty, value-added tax and excise tax.
The customs bodies should control the observance of the said regulation under the procedure, established by the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
According to the Bill, the vehicles, temporarily brought in by the natural persons-residents for the term not exceeding two months are not liable to registration in the bodies of State Auto Inspection of Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the People´s Deputy O. Antipov, the author of the Bill, the adoption of the Bill will create conditions for establishing social justice and will also provide the citizens-residents with an opportunity of free transportation by their own motor cars while visiting their relatives.
