The People´s Deputies upheld a motion by the Committee Chairman, Serhiy Teriokhin, to recommend that Parliament transfers all Taxation provisions from this Bill into an independent Law to be passed prior to adoption of The State Budget for the coming year. The Committee Members consider that ‘all clauses changing the Tax Administration Rules, and in particular Excise, Land Taxation, etc, should be removed from this Bill for further discussions´.
The Committee also recommends that Parliament passes in its entirety the Bill on amending several Laws of Ukraine, to reduce any risks that could ensue following Ukraine´s entry into The World Trade Organisation (WTO).
The Bill (Reg. No.1283) suggests that amendments are made to the Laws ‘On Value Added Tax´ and ‘On Incentives for Car Manufacturing in Ukraine´, aiming to enhance the competitive stance of Ukraine´s agricultural and car production sector on the eve of Ukraine´s entry into The WTO.
